AMERICAN AIRLINES / December 2015 DOT PET INCIDENT REPORT Carrier and Flight Number American Airlines Flight # 1624 Date and Time of the Incident 1 December 2015 @ 22:30 Description of the Animal, Including Name Snake, Name Unknown Narrative Description of Incident Upon arrival in SFO at approximately 22:30 CST customer arrives to pick up the snake and asks the agent to open the box. The agent refuses to open but the customer proceeds just to find the snake deceased inside. The snake was inside a cardboard box with a plastic inner container. No damaged was noted to the inner container. The vet was not contacted since the customer decided to take the snake home.
