While in transit to the aircraft the dog attempted to chew at the kennel resulting in injury to the mouth/jaw. Local agents in San Diego, CA transported the dog to Veterinary services for medical treatment. Cause of Incident: The dog's attempt to chew through the kennel resulted in a self-inflicted injury to the teeth/jaw requiring medical treatment. Corrective Action Taken: Self-inflicted injury. No action taken.
