Relieving Locations at Reno/Tahoe International Airport

Pre-Security Locations

Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) offers two pre-security pet relief areas, known as Bark Parks, which are fully fenced and ADA accessible. These areas include amenities such as running water, mutt mitts for cleaning up after pets, a fire hydrant, and a canopy for inclement weather.

• Gate K9 – South: Located south of the terminal near the Ticketing Lobby, just outside of the Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter, with nearly 700 sq. ft. of space.
• Gate K9 – North: Situated north of the terminal outside Door D through baggage claim by ground transportation, offering more than 1000 sq. ft. of space.

Post-Security Location

A post-security pet relief area is available on the second floor of the terminal building between the Concourses in the High Mountain Marketplace. This Bark Park is fully enclosed and provides access to running water. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the airline gates, allowing pets to find relief before their flight.

All pet relief areas are equipped with necessary amenities to ensure cleanliness and comfort for both pets and their owners. Please remember to pick up after your animal to maintain the cleanliness of these areas.
