Service and Transit Animal Relief Area

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) offers a fully fenced grassy area under palm trees between the International Parking Garage and Terminal 2 Parking Garage. This area is designed for service animals, pets in transit, and working airport animals. It provides fresh water, plastic bags, and a trash receptacle for handlers and owners. The area is partially enclosed with a low fence and identified by signs. While the area is fully enclosed, all animals must remain leashed and under the direct control of their owner or handler.

HNL also has additional Service and Transit Animal Relief Stations located in the sterile area:

  • Terminal 1 Ground Level: C.B. Lansing Garden
  • Terminal 2 Ground Level: Hawaiian Garden
  • Terminal 3: Animal Relief Station
