Pet Relief Areas

Kansas City International Airport offers four pet relief areas for travelers with animals:

Post-Security Locations

• Gate A8: An indoor pet relief area is located post-security near Gate A8.
• Gate B54: Another indoor pet relief area can be found post-security near Gate B54.
• Gate A18: A third indoor relief area is situated within the secure area of U.S. Customs and Border Protection for arriving international flights.

These indoor spaces are equipped with a large basin featuring artificial grass and a water spray nozzle for cleaning. Plastic bags and supplies are available for cleaning up solid waste.

Pre-Security Location

• Arrivals Level: An outdoor pet relief area is located in the courtyard at the north end of the baggage claim area, outside of security.
