Pet Relief Areas

Kansas City International Airport offers four pet relief areas for travelers with animals:

• Indoor Post-Security Locations: There are two indoor pet relief areas located post-security near Gate A8 and Gate B54. These areas are equipped with a large basin with artificial grass and a water spray nozzle for cleaning. Plastic bags and supplies are provided for cleaning up solid waste.

• International Arrivals: A third pet relief area is located within the U.S. Customs and Border Protection area for arriving international flights near Gate A18. This area shares similar amenities with the indoor locations.

• Outdoor Pre-Security Location: There is an outdoor pet relief area located in the courtyard at the north end of the bag claim area on the Arrivals level, outside of security.
