Pet Relief Area

The Des Moines International Airport provides a designated pet relief area for passengers traveling with pets or service animals. This area is located outside the terminal by the parking garage, north of the skywalk. It is a small fenced area equipped with a fake fire hydrant.

• Only ticketed passengers traveling with a pet or service animal are allowed to have the animal in the airport.
• Pets must be kept in a pet carrier at all times while inside the terminal.
