Relieving Locations at Salt Lake City Intl Airport

Salt Lake City Intl (SLC) in Salt Lake City, UT.

Pre-Security Locations

There is one animal relief station located outside of the airport on the west side of the terminal. Additionally, there are two pre-security animal relief stations located across the street from each terminal, in front of the parking garage. These grassy areas are equipped with waste stations and space to exercise pets.

Post-Security Locations

Within the secure area, there are two animal relief stations. One is located in Concourse A near gate A9 and another near gate A34. In Concourse B, the relief station is near gate B20. Passengers traveling with pets must have them in a crate, kennel, or other approved container, except for service animals and therapy dogs.

Accessibility and Amenities

The post-security relief areas require passengers and their pets to be escorted outside by either an airport or airline employee. Airline employees from nearby gates can assist by opening the door and walking passengers and their pets to the relief area. Waste bags and cleaning supplies are available at these locations.
