Description of Incident: Upon opening cargo pit door at arrival, it was discovered that the dog had chewed through the side of kennel. Dog appeared to have minor injuries to mouth, tongue & teeth. Owner declined our help with vet treatment and said they would take the dog to the vet on their own.
Cause of Incident: Guest advised that she had given dog a sedative prior to travel because dog does not travel well. The sedative did not appear to work for the dog.
